Today is my first day at mediacorp.
acting in the chinese drama show 企鹅爸爸.
small fry ^^. but still there's portions of me.

I must say acting is tough.
really man.

Not only must you remember your script,
u still must be able to act it out
this is just the very very very minimum basics.
it's till invovling in the act that i realised there's alot more.

Damn man the lightings are all over you,
above u, behind u, etc.
the wires n stuffs... no joke.
it may seem like it's spacious in the show.
but damn... it's really cramped when u're acting.
u may just bump onto the lightings or trip on wires.

U must also take note of your posture, angle and location.
u can be shooting for quite sometime n suddenly director wanted to go back to which scene.
n you must go back to that scene just exactly where you are standing, posing and angle direction.
like even a finger wrong also will kena scold one. lmao.

really very easy for a NG.
Plus the fact the place where we're acting is a office building.
Ppl are working there while we're there acting.
lol is like what a disturbance...
to it us or them.
they watched quietly, cant concentrate in their work. lol.

one thing i must add is the despite all these,
most important is the director.
but for what i see.
most directors are cranky and short tempered. lol.
get pek chek easily. but can joke too if things are well.
i got teased by director.
he nicknamed me 斑马哥.
keep 斑马哥 here and there.
the reason why he called me that is because there's a celebrity acting as 小马 in the show.
so he think it would be best to give me a 马 nickname.
Im wearing stripe top.. soo.... ya i got this 斑马哥 nickname。

Today's director is alittle short tempered.
he will scold you for every little thing.
even celebrity.
other than the bigger shots like ann kwok n the other guy... forgotten his name.
lol.
heng i never really kena his scolding.

i just blurred out in one rehearsal.
looking at ann kwok while im suppose to give expression and walk away.
so director teased that i am admiring ann kwok that im draming.

Today, interesting, tiring, boring too .
lol. ACTING IS TOUGH!
